Calicut University PG Entrance Exam 2020 Notification:- The University of Calicut offers Post Graduation courses in different specialisations. Some PG courses admissions are done through an entrance examination conducted by the Directorate of Admission (DoA) department. The university established the Directorate of Admission in the year 2014 with a view to streamlining the entire admissions process in the University Teaching Departments and affiliated colleges of the University. The university issued the PG Entrance Examination Notification 2020 for the admission to the PG programmes. Applications are invited for admission to the University Departments/ Affiliated colleges/ University Centres for the following PG Programmes for the academic year 2020 – 2012.
Note:- Last Date of online registration for PG Entrance Examination 2020 has been extended till 30/05/2020.

Calicut University PG Entrance Exam Application 2020
All candidates need to apply online through the University Admission portal www.cuonline.ac.in. Candidates applying for the PG Entrance 2020 should complete the registration in the following steps. The Calicut University Postgraduation Entrance registration process has two steps. Follow the below-given steps.
Step One – CAP ID creation:- Candidates applying for CU PG entrance 2020 should create a CAP ID by providing the basic details.
- Go to the Calicut University Directorate of Admission home page.
- Click on the “New User (Create CAP ID)” link provided in the registration page.
- Enter the required details and click on the submit button.
- CAP ID and Password will send to the mobile number entered into the registration form. So enter a valid mobile number (Mobile number of students/parents/guardian only to be furnished).
Step Two – Registration Completion and Making Payment:- Log in to the registration page using the CAP ID and Password received at the time of registration. Candidates should be more careful to select the course and college details.
- Enter the required details and select the course you are preferred and college.
- For completing the registration, candidates shall click on the ” Finalise & Proceed to Payment ” button.
- After clicking the button the website will be redirected to the University of Calicut Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) page where the student can select the desired choice of payment.
- Take a print out of the application for after paying the application fee successfully.

Hall Tickets for PG Entrance Examination
Applied candidates can download hall tickets for the entrance examination from www.cuonline.ac.in. The hall ticket will be available on the website before 3 days of the entrance examination. Candidates without hall ticket are not allowed to enter into the examination hall.
Calicut University PG Entrance Exam Syllabus
The syllabus and Question Paper of PG entrance examination shall be based on the UG Degree syllabus of Calicut University / Eligibility of the course. The type of questions can be objective only, descriptive only or a combination of objective and descriptive questions. If the entrance examination includes objective type questions alone, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. If it includes the combination of objective type and descriptive type questions or descriptive questions only, there will be no negative scores. That is, no deduction of marks for wrong answers.

| M.Sc Programmes | B.Sc with at least 50% in the concerned subject from any recognised university or board OR equivalent qualification. |
| M.Com | A pass in B.Com or BBA (earlier BBS) degree of University of Calicut or B.Com, BBA, BBM or BBS degree of any other University or Institutions in any States recognised by UGC or AICTE and approved by the University of Calicut with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade is eligible for admission. |
| M.Tech | Should have a B.Tech in respective subject from any recognised University or Board. OR equivalent qualification from any University or Board. |
| M.Phil | A Master’s Degree in the relevant stream from a recognised University or Board. Should be passed in respective Entrance Test conducted by the University. |
