What is Kerala PSC Descriptive Examination
From 2018 Kerala PSC decided to conduct two-part of examinations Part 1 – Preliminary Examination and Part 2 – Main examination. The new system is applicable for only some vacancies for the first time. Kerala Public Service Commission will conduct both preliminary examinations and will publish a shortlist of the qualified candidates who are eligible to attend the Main examination.
The preliminary examination will be in objective type OMR based questions only. The first paper consist maximum of 100 marks and the cutoff mark will be between 40 to 50 marks. The cut of mark will have changes based on the post and the number of vacancies. The Main examination will be in descriptive type for a maximum of 100 marks.
