Southern Railway inviting application for the apprentice posts in different trades. The vacancies are available in different trades in the Trichy, Madurai, Palagat, Trivandrum, Salem, Podannur, Perambur and Chennai Division. Application Fee:- Applicants have to pay fee INR 100/- through online mode only. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates do not need to pay fees.
Eligibility Criteria for Southern Railway Recruitment
Eligibility:- Must have passed 10th class examination under 10, +2 system or its equivalent with
minimum 50% marks in aggregate. OR Must have passed ITI Course in relevant trades from a recognized institution. OR Must have passed +2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (For MLT Only). SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates should have secured 50% marks in the SSLC examination.
Age Limit:- Candidates minimum age should be 15 years and should not have completed
22/24 years for Freshers/ Ex-ITI, MLT candidates Respectively. The Upper age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 Years for PWD candidates.
Medical Examination:- Selected candidates shall have to bring a Medical certificate at the time of document
verification in the prescribed format. The certificates should be signed by the Government Authorized Doctor (Goz.).
