Eligibility Criteria for Central Railway Recruitment
Education:- Applicants must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from the recognized Board. Should possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Age Limit:- Candidates age should be between 15 to 24 years as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ St candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates.
Salary Scale:- as per government norms.
Selection Process:- The selection committee will prepare a merit list on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. Selection will be on the basis of merit list.
Application Fee:- All applicants have to pay an application fee INR 100/- Fee payment will have to be made online through payment system Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking payment system.

Required Documents
- SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent mark sheet.
- Certificate for proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or it’s an equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating the date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating the date of birth).
- Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
- National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, wherever applicable, as mentioned in para 8.5 above.
- Disability certificate, in case of PWD candidate.
- Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates, applied against Ex-Servicemen quota.

The Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway has issued a recruitment notification for the 251 Junior and Senior Clerk vacancies in all over India. The selection will be through the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) from all the eligible regular serving Railway employees of Central Railway. Eligibility Criteria for Railway Recruitment Cell Central Railway Clerk Recruitment
Education:- To apply for Jr. Clerk posts candidates should have passed 12th (10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination, on the date of notification with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate with Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English / 25 w.p.m. in Hindi. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen.
To apply for Sr. Clerk vacancies candidates should have a degree from recognized University or its equivalent.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit for appearing in the GDCE is 42 years for Upper Region (UR) candidates, 45 years for OBC candidates and 47 years for SC/ ST candidates as on 01/01/2020.
Selection Process:- The selection will be based on the Railway Recruitment Cell, Central railway GDCE marks. A typing test with required “words per minute” (w.p.m.) speed shall be conducted anytime after the issue of the result of Computer Based Test (CBT) and only those candidates who pass the Typing test successfully will be selected.
Medical Classification:- The qualified candidates should be FIT in C-One (Cee-I). For the posts where C-One category is required, candidates will be sent for medical examination in case their existing medical is C-Two (Cee-2).
Application Fee:- There is no application fee.
