Eligibility criteria and other for CIFT Recruitment 2019
Senior Research Fellow
Nature of work : Place of posting will be at CIFT, Cochin. Work involves extensive field trips for aquaculture sample collection, preparation, sterilization and decontamination of media, glass wares, plastic wares etc, for the isolation of AMR pathogens.
Qualification : BSc/ Diploma in any branch of life-Science or Medical microbiology or Equivalent with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent grade
Desirable : Experience with field work (preferably Microbiology & Biotechnology) and experience with AMR research
Emoluments : Rs. 16,000/- per month Consolidated
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years as on date of interview.

Research Associate
Nature of work : Place of posting will be at CIFT, Cochin. Work involves extensive field trips, liaison with stakeholders, disease surveillance and investigations in aquaculture farms of Assam, database development and laboratory analysis.
Qualification : Ph.D in the field of Microbiology/ aquatic animal health management/ Fishery Microbiology/ Fishing Pathology and health management/ aquaculture, Fishery Microbiology and Biotechnology or Master’s degree in the Microbiology/ / aquatic animal health management/ Fishery Microbiology/ Fishing Pathology and health management/ aquaculture, Fishery Microbiology and Biotechnology with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% with at least 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Emoluments : Rs. 36,000/- per month + HRA
Desirable : CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR Net qualified, Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills. Prior experience in handling microbial cultures and molecular techniques.
Age Limit : Maximum of 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview

Senior Research Fellow :- Walk- in- Interview will be held on 19.01.2019 at 10 A.M. in the CIFT, Cochin. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data ( in the enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph.
Research Associate :- Walk- in- Interview will be held on 18.01.2019 at 10 A.M. in the CIFT, Cochin. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data ( in the enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph.
