RBI Recruitment: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications from intrested and eligible candidates for the post of Assistant. The eligible and intrested candidates can submit the application online form November 28.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

The candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum 50 per cent from a recognised university or institute.

Age limit:

The intrested candidate’s age should be between 20 and 28 years. Age relaxation would be provided to the candidates as per the government rules.

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the preliminary examination, main examination, and interview.

Pay scale:

The selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 13,150 to Rs 34,990 per month.

Exam pattern:

Preliminary examination:

The exam will have 100 questions based on English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. It will carry a total of 100 marks with a duration of an hour.

Main examination:

The exam will comprise 200 questions based on the following topics:

  • Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Numerical Ability
  • General Awareness
  • Computer Knowledge

The duration of the exam will be of two hours.

The maximum marks for the main examination is 200 marks and interview will be held for 35 marks. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination). One fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The general and SC/ST candidates can make the payment of Rs  450 and Rs 50 needs to be paid by them for the registration procedure.
