NIT Calicut Recruitment 2019 : Walk-in interview for Hostel attender vacancies

Qualification:- (a)SSLC or equivalent (b)Knowledge in English/Hindi and to speak.

Experience:- Experience as attender and shall be capable of attending to the students facilities in NITC hostels, observing clearly the activities of students in day/night time, attending phone calls of officials of NITC, parents and reporting violations observed, if any, immediately to the Care taker/ Hostel Manager/ Warden. They shall also help the stewards/care takers/wardens as per requirements.

3. Hostel Attender (Carpenter)

Qualification:-  (a)SSLC or equivalent (b)ITI trade certificate/ Vocational Diploma/ Apprenticeship

Experience:-Shall attend the relevant carpentry maintenance/repair works in the hostels as per requirements.

4. Hostel Attender (Gardner – female)

Qualification:-  (a)SSLC or equivalent (b)Certificate course in gardening and nursery management (preferable)

Experience:- Shall attend the relevant gardening maintenance works in the hostels as per requirements.

Salary scale :- Daily Pay – Rs.500

Interested candidates shall appear for an interview as noted with all original certificates of their qualification/experiences/ proof of age. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. The Council of Wardens reserves the right to offer higher remuneration to deserving candidates with higher experience and qualification and to expel from duty on misconduct at any time.
