Eligibility criteria for Indian Army recruitment :
Fire Engine Driver
Educational qualification : 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board. Must have atleast three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving licence.
Pay scale : Rs 21,700/-
Station Officer (Erstwhile Fire Supervisor Trade)
Education : 12th standard pass from a recognised Board. Senior Fire Supervisor Course from Defence Institute of Fire Research Ministry of Defence, New Delhi or the Sub Officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any other similar recognized course. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments like fire engines, trailer fire pumps, foam branches, etc. Must have served in a recognized civil or Defence Fire Brigades in a supervisory capacity for a minimum period of three years.
Salary : Rs 29,200/
Fire Fitter
Education : 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
Salary : Rs 19,900/-
Fireman
Education :10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fitting and fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. visit notification for more details.
Salary: Rs 19,900/-
Tradesman Mate,Tin Smith,Cook,Painter,Carpenter,Barber,Equipment Repairer and Washerman
Education : 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
Salary : Rs 18,000/- to Rs 19,000/-
Age limit : Candidates age should be 18 to 25 years.Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates -5 yrs, OBC candidates – 3 years, PH candidates – 10 years.
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Practical Trade Test, Place of Practical/ Physical/ Written Test & Interview.
