BSF recruitment 2016-17 : Border Security Force (BSF) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector and Head constable (Ministerial) posts. Name of the post:
- Head Constable (Ministerial):- 121 posts
- Assistant Sub-Inspector:- 36 posts
Educational Qualification: The interested candidates should possess a +2 certificate or its equivalent qualification from any recognised board or university and must have shorthand speed at 80 words per minute in English or in Hindi for 10 minutes.

Age : The candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years as on 1st January 2017.However, age relaxation will be provided as per the government norms.
Salary scale: Assistant Sub-Inspector:- The selected candidates will be in the pay band between Rs 5200 – 20200/- Per Month, with grade pay Rs 2800/-
Head constable :- The selected candidates will be getting pay band between Rs 5200 – 20200/- Per Month,with grade pay Rs 2800/-
Selection process: The selection is held in two phases. First phase: Written examination. Second phase: physical measurement test,shorthand speed test,typing speed test,documentation,medical examination.For more information visit official notification.
